School groups are accommodated at all key stages and all courses are accredited. Bookings are grouped into 6 week blocks or a one off introductory sessions. Bookings can also be tailor made to suit all learning abilities. For more information on our courses please select from the following:

Groups Activities & Team Building
Canalside provides a range of adventurous activities to meet the needs of your group. This is done through safe, enjoyable, educational activities which can include, but is not exclusive of:

Cardboard Canoe Building
Each activity can be delivered as a taster or as part of an accredited course. Group activities are used to improve group interaction and cohesion whilst encouraging participants to develop a more significant role with their peers.
Expeditions
Expeditions are organised and delivered to locations throughout the UK and Europe. These are tailor made to suit our various client groups. Recent expeditions have included:

The Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE)
What is the Duke of Edinburgh's Award?
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a great way to meet new people and gain incredible experiences. The award develops life skills through fantastic opportunities for those aged 14-24. The three sections to the award, Bronze, Silver and Gold, each include a training and assessment expedition as well as volunteering, physical and skill components.

The price is an all inclusive package of £600 per person, this covers transport, equipment, accommodation, staffing and accreditation.
Participants are required to supply their own food and personal clothing for the training and assessment expeditions.
This price is based on a minimum group of 8.
